Hopefully, the junior class at Pomfret School is now motivated to get involved! On Saturday, April 16th, there was a roundtable discussion at the school. Students directed their questions to Pat Boyd, a government teacher at the school and candidate for the 50th Assembly District, along with State Rep. Danny Rovero and Sens. Eric Coleman and Mae Flexer. Students were told how important it is to register and exercise their right to vote when they turn 18. You cannot expect change if you don't participate in the political process. And students also heard details from the panel on what motivated them to get into politics.
