Milford Veteran Inducted Into CT Veterans Hall of Fame
Rep. Kim Rose and Navy Veteran Greg Smith of Milford at the Legislative Office Building
in Hartford for the Veterans’ Induction Ceremony
I was pleased to join state leaders and the Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs in recognizing a group of veterans who were inducted into the Connecticut Veterans Hall of Fame, 2015 Class, including Milford’s resident, Greg Smith who served 10 years of active duty in the U.S. Navy. I nominated Greg because his continued commitment to local civic and volunteer service to others is simply extraordinary!
Other Connecticut inductees this year
John DeBisschop of Naugatuck
Michael Skelps of Middlefield
Elliott Donn of Windsor
Glenn Neal Arthur Jr. of Gales Ferry
PW Louthain of Deep River
Dan Riccio, Jr. of North Haven

The Connecticut Veterans Hall of Fame was established in 2005 to increase awareness of the lifetime contributions of veterans after completion of honorable military service and to recognize veterans for their continued contributions to society.
To date, one hundred and two Veterans have been honored in the Connecticut Veterans Hall of Fame.
Each year, the committee selects at least 10 inductees from applications received from across the state and nation. The nominee must have served their country honorably in any branch of military service and continued to serve their communities, state and nation after discharge.
