I hope you are all doing well. The summer is breezing away. You will see that as you scroll through this email, but first, did you know August is Black Business Month? Let's recognize and support these businesses which are vital to our economy!

August is Black Business Month. It's the perfect time to recognize and support Black-owned businesses in the 17th district!

Please consider shopping at these businesses, whether it's retail, restaurants, or services. Share your experiences on social media, use hashtags like #BlackBusinessMonth, and leave positive reviews to boost visibility. Please click on the images below for a list of black-owned businesses in New Haven and Hamden's 94th district respectively.

This special convocation welcomes educators back to the new school year and celebrates the dedicated and wonderful teachers who pave the path for our student's success!
