It was an honor to join Sober Southington this week at Yard Goats Stadium for a special evening celebrating recovery, mental health, and community.

I was honored to join Southington resident Bill Lynch and members of our community for the 4th Annual Loving Kindness Bowling Fundraiser at Apple Valley Bowling Center in Plantsville.

I joined members of our community at the Southington 9/11 Memorial in Plantsville to honor and remember the lives lost 25 years ago on September 11, 2001.

This week, Southington students and teachers returned to school for a new academic year. It was great to see our schools come back to life as students, educators, and families begin another year of learning and growth.

Over the past six months, it has been an eye-opening experience to visit local businesses across the 81st District on my inaugural Tour of Southington Businesses.

It was a pleasure to volunteer at the Joe & Kay Calvanese Foundation's Reds, Whites & Brews Festival at the Aqua Turf Club! This year’s event brought together more than 60 beverage vendors, great food, live entertainment, games, and community members.
