Naugatuck Valley Rail Conference
January 13, 2020I want to thank the Naugatuck Valley Council of Governments for hosting regional leaders for a vibrant discussion of the future of the Waterbury Branch Line rail service. We all recognize the importance in investing in our local commuter rail…the one train up/one train down system is inadequate.
Expanding service on the Waterbury Branch Line will benefit local economic development, housing prices and quality of life. For our communities to grow, public transportation and commuting options must improve.
