Honoring Dr. King
The State Capitol had the feel of a packed sanctuary with a rousing church service.
Today, the legislative Black and Puerto Rican Caucus hosted the Capitol’s Annual Clergy Day...This year’s focus, on the day before the 50th anniversary of MLK’s death, was Dr. King’s message of peace and equality. What an honor it was to be a part of this inspiring event.
