Newsletter Outlines What We Accomplished

July 27, 2019

The 2019 legislative session was very productive. We passed bipartisan legislation that improves the lives of working families, encourages economic growth and makes critical investments in the future of our children, as well as our state. Though we made great progress, there is always more to do and next year we will continue our hard work.

This year, I had the honor of being appointed House chairman of the Education Committee. In my current newsletter to residents, I mention legislation I championed in my new role as the Education Committee leader.

Serving in other capacities, I worked on policies that support our small businesses, spur workforce development and ensure that we are making Connecticut more affordable for our young people and our seniors.
