Minority Teacher Recruitment Bill Moves Forward
May 7, 2018It’s important that we offer the best learning environment for our children. SB 455, An Act Concerning Minority Teacher Recruitment and Retention, is common sense legislation because it helps ensure that classrooms are familiar settings to minority students. I am pleased this legislation was passed in the House unanimously and not it's headed to the governor for signing.
