Bipartisan Women's Caucus 2019 Kick-Off!

January 15, 2019

Today, the Bipartisan Women's Caucus met for our first organizational meeting of the 2019 Legislative Session. During the meeting, we named Representative Dorinda Borer to co-chair the caucus, representing the Democratic side alongside Representative Rebimbas, who will co-chair the caucus representing the Republican side.

With 20 new member the Bipartisan Women's Caucus is now the largest and most influential caucus at the Capitol. Women’s issues are all encompassing; they are not strictly issues that involve women. They involve men, children, and every aspect of our day to day lives. We are 61 women strong and I’m so delighted to watch this caucus grow our accomplishments from last year.

As we move forward as a caucus and begin to consider the bills we will support, I look for your input. Please remember that you don't have to be a women to support women's issues or offer your input. If you'd like to learn more or offer your thoughts, you can contact my office at (860) 240-8585.
