June 22, 2017

Connecticut Voices for Children spearheaded the June 20th press conference with a revenue plan aimed at avoiding funding cuts for providers and non-profits. Rep. Tercyak supports the plan that calls for eliminating sales tax exemptions, increasing the state income tax by a half percent on top wage earners, changes to the corporate income tax and a tax on sugary drinks. Also represented at the press conference were the Connecticut Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Clifford Beers Clinic, Friends Center for Children, McCall’s Behavioral Health, Family Intervention Center and Planned Parenthood of Southern New England.
