PTSD Services For First Responders

Senate Bill 164, seeks to expand workers' compensation coverage in certain situations that result in mental or emotional impairment.

The legislation allows police officers, parole officers, and firefighters to receive 52 weeks of services for certain workers’ compensation benefits for PTSD caused by their participation in certain “qualifying events.”
