Happy Friday! As this year's session progresses, there are a lot of bills and information I want to communicate with you all. From now until the end of session, I'll be sending two emails every week: on Fridays, I will email you a legislative update and show you anything happening at the Capitol, and Mondays will feature events in the Fairfield area and any other general information I want to pass along.

The legislature is starting to meet as a full body more frequently, and I look forward to keeping you updated as this session progresses.

We are more than halfway through the regular session, and this is the time of year when legislative activity picks up in the Connecticut General Assembly.

I hope you've been staying cool in this April heat! As you know, each week I like to tell you about what's happening at the Capitol and in our own community.

Happy April! With the Legislative Session in full swing, I want to keep you informed on the work I'm doing on your behalf in Hartford

Last week was the final committee meeting in the Education Committee and we voted on many exciting initiatives. Many other committees wrap up their work this week. We now will continue to refine the legislative language and engage stakeholders on the bills that have made it out of committees to get them ready to come to the House floor.

I hope your week is off to a great start. It has been busy at our state's Capitol and I want to share some updates with you.
