Heavy rains over the weekend did some real damage in our neck of the woods. I have included information on how you can help the state assess the damage in hopes of qualifying for federal assistance, as well as next steps residents should take following storm damage.

There are serious penalties for bypassing those flashing red lights. I've included more details, but drivers, please be careful around our schools.

Sales Tax-Free Week began on Sunday, and that means the next school year is close. As a teacher, I'm excited. Parents, caregivers, family, and friends can take advantage of this time to save money on back-to-school supplies and more. Don't delay. Sales Tax-Free Week ends on Saturday.
