The State of Connecticut is expecting about 45,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses on a weekly basis from the federal government. We now know that the State will be taking a tiered approach in Phase 1B as we work to vaccinate the nearly 1.4 million people in the recently updated Phase 1B category.

Scheduling has been opened for individuals in Phase 1B of the vaccination rollout - currently, Phase 1B is set to include individuals 75 and older; certain essential workers; and individuals and staff in congregate living settings.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation will conduct a public information meeting concerning a proposed State Project involving resurfacing, bridge rehabilitation and safety improvements on I-95 in Greenwich and Stamford, on January 21, 2021. The formal presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Approximately 1,500 to 2,000 small and mid-size businesses that have been hurt by the pandemic will receive funds beginning New Year's Eve.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced a bridge maintenance project on I-95 in Greenwich which began last night and is scheduled to go through the morning of Friday, January 29, 2021, between the hours of 9:00pm to 5:00am (Monday night through Friday morning).

Connecticut will be the first state in the nation to require all high schools to offer courses on African-American, Black, Puerto Rican, and Latino studies. High schools will be required to offer these courses by Fall 2022.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed from 9:00pm to 5:00am on Monday, December 7, 2020, to the morning of Friday, December 18, 2020 on I-95 southbound in Greenwich.
