Stamford March for Our Lives
State Representative Patricia Billie Miller spoke to students and community leaders during Stamford's March for Our Lives 2018 to speak out against gun violence and its deleterious effects.  Rep. Miller urged young people to speak out for what is right and to stand up for their rights, and to get involved in their community.  "I am happy to say that Connecticut got it, we got it.  We changed the laws, but that's not enough because we know that the problem is on the federal level," said Rep. Miller

Chester Addison Community Center Economy Internet Event
Altice and CT State Representative Patricia Billie Miller visited with students attending Chester Addison Community Center’s after school program to speak about the importance of technology and broadband access for education success. Students asked Representative Miller questions about technology, education and also presented a STEM project. Chester Addison Community Center Director, Michael Hyman, also participated in the event and is partnering with Altice to help raise awareness of Economy Internet, an affordable option for broadband in the home for households that qualify for the National School Lunch Program. Altice is also providing free Internet at the center intended to give students access while they visit.
