With fall comes cooler weather, changing leaves, and a number of new laws hitting the books. Several measures passed during the 2025 legislative session took effect on October 1.

I joined my colleagues in celebrating our ongoing work to strengthen civics education, engagement, and media literacy in Connecticut. The task force released its recommendations to close gaps in these areas. I am proud to have introduced and sponsored this legislation.

Gov. Lamont issued executive orders to ensure that state residents have access to COVID-19 vaccines during the upcoming respiratory virus season. 

The City of Milford will gather to honor the memory and every life lost on September 11, 2001. We will hold a bell ringing ceremony at the 9/11 monument on the grounds of City Hall.

Sales Tax-Free Week runs from August 17-23. It provides a chance to save money, whether it is taking the kids back-to-school shopping or treating yourself or your loved ones.
