March is Women's History Month, a time to honor the extraordinary contributions women have made to our society.

I had the pleasure of reading to a pair of second grade classes at Pumpkin Delight Elementary School as part of Read Across America Week.

I was proud to vote for a bill allocating $40 million in immediate relief to cover special education costs for school districts across the state. Milford Public Schools will receive approximately $329,000.

I had the opportunity to join the Milford Delegation on a visit to the Superior Court for the Judicial District of Ansonia/Milford.

It was an honor to take the oath of office at the State Capitol to begin my third term as the State Representative of the 118th District. There are several resources to follow the action at the Capitol and get involved in the legislative process.

Connecticut is taking a major step in trying to help people pay their student loans. The state plans on launching a pilot program for Student Loan Reimbursement on January 1, 2025.

Connecticut is receiving federal funding to improve our rails including the replacement of the Longbrook Avenue Roadway Bridge along the New Haven Line, which passes through Milford.
