New Laws Effective In October
The Hartford Courant recently ran an article highlighting nine of these important new laws.
The article calls attention to one of our top priorities this session — increasing access to life-saving naloxone in response to the growing opioid public health crisis.
Other laws taking effect address priorities such as:
- Protecting Victims of Domestic Violence
- Medical Marijuana for Children
- Experimental Drugs for Terminally ill Patients
- Animal Rights
- Controlling Dangerous ATV and Mini-Motorcycle Use
