Hydraulic Fracking Bill Passes House
May 9, 2017I am proud to announce that HB 6329 "An Act Concerning Hydraulic Fracturing Waste In Connecticut" passed the State House today 141-6.
Woodstock, Eastford, Brooklyn & Pomfret have already passed or are in the process of drafting a town ordinance that would enact a ban on a town by town basis. This legislation would help bring uniformity across the state by establishing a state-wide ban.
I was proud to be a co-sponsor of this bill and will continue to support it as it makes it's way to the Senate.
