ECAD - Documentary "To Be of Service"
ECAD joined me in Hartford to host the documentary film “To Be of Service”. The film provided us an up close look into the long term impact of the horrors of war on our veterans and the role that service dogs can play in helping them recover their lives.
I've been working with Carolyn Sires, RTM District 5 Rep, who has dedicated herself to bringing awareness to the role that service dogs can play in helping veterans with PTSD move forward in their lives for more positive outcomes. We had people joining us from across the country who were a part of this film including several veterans whose lives were turned around from having a service dog.
Very powerful stuff.
