No Suspension of services during emergency
Disconnect Suspensions. For electric, gas, and water companies not municipally owned, disconnecting service will not happen during the Governor’s state of emergency.
UPDATE‼️ pursuant to its powers under Conn. Gen. Stat. § 16-11, the Public Utilities Regulatory Agency is hereby ordering the gas, electric, and water public service companies regulated by the Authority to implement a Shut-off Moratorium and refrain from terminating utility service to residential customers for the duration of the Public Health and Civil Preparedness Emergency declared by Governor Lamont on March 10, 2020 due to COVID-19, or until such other time determined by the Authority.
