The Connecticut Department of Transportation will be installing a wrong-way detection system at the Exit 3A northbound off-ramp from Route 349 (Clarence B. Sharp Hwy.) in Groton from 7pm Wednesday, November 29, to 5am Thursday, November 30.

Motorists can expect a temporary ramp closure on Route 349 (Clarence B. Sharp Hwy.) at the Exit 3A northbound off ramp to Route 1. A detour will be in place to Exit 88 northbound, left off Exit 88 onto Route 117, right onto I-95 southbound, left onto Exit 87 and right onto exit towards Route 1 in Groton. Crash attenuator vehicles and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
