Rep. Cook Appointed to House Leadership Team
I am pleased to announce that I have been re-appointed as Deputy Speaker by Speaker of the House Joe Aresimowicz (D-Berlin/Southington). I have also been selected to serve as a member on the Education Committee, Human Services Committee, Joint Committee on Legislative Management and the Public Health Committee.
On Wednesday, January 9, I will be sworn into my sixth term in the Connecticut General Assembly.
I am excited to continue serving in this role to promote legislation that benefits residents and businesses in Torrington, and continues moving Connecticut forward. I look forward to continuing the legislature’s work and creating and supporting new policies to improve the quality of life for residents and make the state more conducive to small business.
