Welcoming $500K to Windsor & Windsor Locks

I'm happy that the State Bond Commission approved Community Investment Funds (CIF) for both Windsor and Windsor Locks at the last SBC meeting on December 18. I offered my support on both of these grants.

Each town will receive a $250,000 planning grant. 

Windsor: Senior Housing Planning – Planning grant to conduct a feasibility study for creating 40-100 units of senior and disabled affordable housing on a town-owned site.

Windsor Locks:  Outdoor Wellness & Athletic Center Planning – Planning grant to plan a hub for local sports programs, school athletics, and recreational activities.

The State Bond Commission has approved Community Investment Funds for both Windsor and Windsor Locks.
