Tree Removal Along I-291 In Windsor Scheduled This Week
A tree removal operation along I-291 in Windsor began Monday and will run through Sept. 6.

Tree Removal along I-291 in Windsor
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a tree removal operation will be performed on I-291 eastbound and westbound between Exits 1 and 4 in Windsor, Monday, August 19, through Friday, September 6, 2019.
No work will be performed the day before or after the Labor Day Holiday.
The tree removal operation will be performed by State Forces.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect right lane and shoulder closures to occur on I-291 Eastbound and Westbound between at Exit 4 and Exit 1. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
