Please read below to learn more about a few events taking place in our community.  The Margerie Reservoir Trail Advisory Committee will hold its 13th meeting tomorrow, March 25 at the New Fairfield Senior/ Community Center. The meeting will begin at 6:30 PM. Click here for more information. Hope to see you there!  Danbury Mayor Roberto Alves and other elected officials will be available for a Second Ward Town Hall on Wednesday, March 26 at Pembroke Elementary School. This a great opportunity to hear from your mayor and share any questions, comments, or concerns. Doors open at 6:45 PM.  The Danbury Council of Veterans will be marking Vietnam Veterans Day with a Welcome Home Ceremony in front of the War Memorial this Saturday at 10 AM. Visit the Council's website for more information.  The Housatonic Resources Recovery Authority (HRRA) has shared its schedule for the 2025 Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) drop-off events, which will take place throughout Western Connecticut.  These events provide residents with a safe and environmentally responsible way to dispose of hazardous household materials. On April 5, a drop-off event will be held at Danbury Public Works from 9 AM - 2 PM.
