Help for Stop&Shop Employees during Strike

April 15, 2019

Stop&Shop Employees walked out of stores across Connecticut on Thursday, April 11, due to failure of resolving a contract impasse. As a result, they are currently unpaid and that is unacceptable.

Any Stop and Shop employee can and should file an unemployment claim online at www.filectui.com. When filing, a person always needs to note the reason for filing a claim. In this case, they will select from the “strike/labor dispute” reason from the drop-down box. Each applicant will receive an eligibility decision.

If any person is having trouble filing a claim or has questions, a Unemployment Benefits Specialist at their local American Job Center can provide assistance. The list of locations and hours can be found at www.JobCenterCT.com
