Upgrades Coming To Cummings Park & West Beach

Stamford will receive $5 million from the federal government for upgrades to Cummings Park and West Beach, a pair of historic gems in our city. The Mayor’s Office says the funds will go toward:

  • new tennis courts
  • new pickleball courts
  • a softball field
  • renovations to the pavilion and bathrooms
  • upgrades to parking lots and beach promenade
These much-need dollars come from the National Park Service whose mission is to renovate recreation facilities and advance land conservation efforts. I would like to thank Connecticut’s congressional delegation for helping securing these funds.
