Expect Delays on I-84 for Bridge Work

Drivers can expect delays in both directions of I-84 in Waterbury for bridge work during the overnight hours. 

Crews will shut down multiple lanes from Tuesday, May 27 to Friday, June 27 within the Route 8 and I-84 Interchange. The work will take place on Sunday nights through Friday mornings, meaning there will not be any delays on Friday and Saturday evenings.

According to Connecticut the Department of Transportation, all lanes will reopen by 6 a.m. during the bridge rehabilitation project. CLICK HERE to learn more.
