Fighting to Protect Our Climate and Other Legislative Updates
April 11, 2024In 2023, the impact of extreme weather in Connecticut was widespread: flooding and late-season freezes that devastated crops, increased inland and coastal flooding, and record high temperatures. Preparing for and protecting our state from the effects of climate change will take a concerted effort, which is why I'm pleased to highlight another bill I co-sponsored.

February 29, 2024Throughout the summer, I had the opportunity to meet and talk to residents in the 149th district. One of the many issues that came up was the Glenville Corridor. In particular, addressing traffic congestion and making it easier for pedestrians to safely enjoy the neighborhood.
Updates for the Early Stages of Session
February 22, 2024Workforce development has been one of my top priorities since I took office. Last December, I had the opportunity to travel to Austin, Texas to attend the National Conference of Legislators Forecast ‘24 Conference. One of the issues discussed at the conference was early childhood education and childcare. Lack of available and affordable childcare is a key impediment to getting people back into the workforce.
