November 22, 2024I was happy to celebrate the official opening of the new Wesskum Wood Road Bridge, which is a model of safety and accessibility. It’s designed for everyone to enjoy, whether you’re biking, walking, or simply taking in the view of Binney Park.
Thanks to Greenwich Public Works and the Connecticut Department of Transportation's Local Bridge Program for bringing this project to life, and for showing us that a bridge can connect us to a stronger, safer, and more inclusive community.

November 13, 2024The state recently allocated $30 million toward much-needed infrastructure repairs and improvements to our state parks and forests.

November 8, 2024Waste Free Greenwich will host its third annual Great Pumpkin Rescue on November 16, from 1-4 pm at Living Hope Community Church in Old Greenwich. Sponsored by Curbside Compost, the event aims to collect pumpkins for composting and raise awareness about food waste in our community. Last year, the Great Pumpkin Rescue diverted over 4,000 lbs. of pumpkins from the waste stream.

October 24, 2024I am thrilled to announce two grants for Greenwich. The first is a $1.8 million grant to support the buildout of broadband infrastructure in the community, the highest of any municipality in CT. The second is a grant for $450,000 to improve safety of the Route 1 (Post Road) pedestrian crossing at the intersection of Byram and Pemberwick Roads.

Legislative & Local Updates for the 149th District - October 10th
October 10, 2024I’m delighted to announce that Stamford will receive approximately $7.7 million in state funding to finish planned upgrades at Mill River Park. The project includes a new and permanent event space, year-round restrooms, an expansive dog park, seating, and play areas. The enhancements will improve safety and accessibility for pedestrians along the busy Washington Boulevard. The funding is coming from the Community Investment Fund 2030.
