Students of Valley Regional & Haddam-Killingworth High Schools - March is Women's History Month & I'd like to invite you to take part in an essay contest!

Students are asked to submit essays on one of two prompts:

1. What moment in history most resonates with the woman/person you would like to become?
OR
2. Describe a woman who has inspired you & how they have influenced you.

Rules for Submission:

Keep the essay to no more than 500 words
Essays must be received by March 27
Email essays to renee.lamarkmuir@cga.ct.gov
The winning essay from each school will be recognized by me
