Cheney Tech bonding

January 16, 2019

I’m pleased to let you know that Manchester’s Cheney Technical High School is getting more than $261,000 from the state Bond Commission to help finance alterations, renovations, and technology equipment at the school. The Commission met last month and approved the allocation.

These funds represent the state’s commitment to education and career training. Providing young people with the skills they need to succeed will help them find good paying jobs and bolster our local and state economies.

More than 600 students from 26 towns are enrolled in grades 9-12 at Cheney. The school offers a variety of career technical pursuits including; HVAC, electrical, auto mechanics, CAD, carpentry and other programs.
