June is Men’s Mental Health Month

May 29, 2025

June is Men’s Mental Health Month, men are four times more likely to die by suicide than women yet far less likely to seek help or receive a diagnosis for depression.

On Wednesday, June 4th from 5:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. at the ConnectiCare Center (1487 Pleasant Valley Road, Manchester) there will be an inclusive workshop led by Jacquilyn Davis, CDP®, Director of Learning & Workforce Development at Mental Health Connecticut.

This workshop will focus on addressing stigma, sharing evidence-based resources, and breaking the silence around men’s mental wellness. You'll learn practical tools to support your own mental health, help others, and challenge the stigma that prevents many—especially men—from seeking the care they deserve.

This event is free and open to the public and registration is required, click here to register.
