In this email, you will find information on the Women's Business Development Council's upcoming Catalyst Symposium and tips from the CT State Police Hate Crime Investigative Unit. Women's Business Development Council Catalyst Symposium

The Women's Business Development Council is set to hold the inaugural WBDC Catalyst Symposium on Tuesday, September 30th. 

Join a community of Connecticut women entrepreneurs for a morning of connection, inspiration, and action. The event will feature a lineup of workshops designed to deliver practical tools, strategies, and insights essential to launching, growing, and sustaining a thriving small business. During the event, attendees can participate in a live pitch competition, where eight finalists will compete for four $25,000 WBDC Accelerate Grants.

Whether you’re just starting out or scaling your business, this symposium will equip you with the knowledge, network, and motivation to take your business to the next level.
 

State Police Hate Crime Investigative Unit Tips

The Hate Crimes Investigative Unit of the CT State Police has created a resource with tips on recognizing, reporting, and preventing hate crimes. 

The unit's goal is to ensure that every community is equipped with the necessary resources to foster a safe and inclusive environment for all residents. The flyer features a detailed breakdown on how to identify hate crimes, the steps to take if you or someone you know is a victim, and the support services available.
