PPE Needed For CT Essential Workers, Donations Too

April 30, 2020

I'm sure you're hearing on the news, like all of us, how our "front line" workers still need essential Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.

We may be at or over the "curve" but we are far from “out of the woods!” We need your help to protect our essential workers so they can continue to do their jobs.

Hospital staff, nursing home and group home workers, grocery store and rest stop clerks, custodial staff and more are so essential, now more than ever, and should be adequately protected to keep serving the most vulnerable of the public to keep us all safe.

The United Way of CT and the SEIU CT State Council are working with us to create the #EssentialSupplies4EssentialWorkers Fund to make sure everyone who is an essential worker or from the most vulnerable communities can get protection.

Here's what's needed:

  • Any PPE material donations
  • Financial contributions to purchase PPEs
  • Volunteers
