2024 Legislative Session

February 8, 2024

The 2024 legislative session opened on Wednesday at 10am and was followed by a joint session of the House and Senate where Governor Lamont gave his State of the State annual address. Governor Lamont presented a $26.1 billion budget that tackles $500 million reduction in bonded debt and prioritizes investments in child care and education while maintaining fiscal restrain in most other areas.
