State Water Plan Public Meeting

November 3, 2017

By law the State Water Planning Council (WPC) is required to provide a time period of not less than 120 days for public review and comment prior to finalizing the draft report and submitting it to the legislature. The State Water Planning Council (WPC) is now soliciting and gathering public comments on the Connecticut State Water Plan Final Draft Report which can be found at: www.ct.gov/water.

Wallingford’s public meeting will be held November 8 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Wallingford’s Town Hall.

I am happy to have been part of the initial efforts, along with my colleagues, state agencies, environmental groups, academics, water providers, business leaders and many others to create and establish the framework for a statewide water plan before we are confronted with a crisis. Now, as we prepare to take the next steps, we want to hear from the public and exchange ideas."
