Sunday Local Office Hours

My second week of rotating neighborhood outreach is this Sunday morning, July 5th at Branford Hills Park from 10am - 11am.

Catch Up with Rep. Comey are outdoor, socially distanced and masked events for those that feel comfortable to join. Anyone can come to any of these weeks as it won't be necessarily district-specific.

I look forward to catching up with you!

Census 2020 Update

This year, more than ever, it is critical that every Connecticut resident responds to the Census.

The most recent data shows Branford's self-response at 68.4% and the entire state at 64.9%. The Census counts every person living in the country – citizens, noncitizens and green-card holders.

I urge everyone to take a few minutes online at https://my2020census.gov/ and complete the form for everyone living in the household. The 2020 Census is open for self-response online at 2020Census.gov, over the phone by calling 844-330-2020, and through the mail.

Housing Relief Package

More than $33 million in state and federal resources is now available as emergency assistance to renters, homeowners, and residential landlords impacted by the COVID-19 public health emergency. These funds will help provide a safety net for families and businesses struggling to make ends meet.

Billions in PPP Loans

As of June 20, a total of 58,257 Connecticut businesses had claimed $6.63 billion in loans through the Paycheck Protection Program, far outpacing most other states. Thanks to effective outreach by the state Department of Economic and Community Development, many of these loans were to unincorporated businesses owned by a single person.

Happy 4th of July!

And lastly, while the 4th of July celebrations and fireworks displays will be affected because of the pandemic, I want to wish you and your family a Happy and Healthy Independence Day!
