Coronavirus Relief Funds

August 24, 2020

Last week, Governor Lamont announced he would increase Coronavirus relief funding for school districts. Groton's school district received $1,248,743 in funding, while Ledyard's received $143,064.

These funds will help schools across Connecticut create the safest environment possible.  School districts can use this funding to address a myriad of issues, including cleaning materials, PPE for teachers and students, and transportation.  We need to do everything in our power to ensure our students, teachers, and other educators are protected from COVID-19.
