Black Lives Matter Mural Unveiled in Bloomfield
I was very proud to join fellow colleagues, including Senators Doug McCrory and Derek Slap along with Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz at the Black Lives Matter Mural unveiling at the Bloomfield Town Hall Lawn on Tuesday.
This was a wonderful, well-supported and well-attended community event sponsored by Bloomfield Leisure Services.

Local artists painted the mural. As I attended many BLM rallies this summer, I had many conversations with all walks of people. The artists captured their feelings of the possibility of what our country can be. This mural makes me hopeful that change is possible and will happen.
