I am happy to announce that the towns of Windsor and Windsor Locks have both received a grant from the Special Meeting of the State Bond Commission, which met earlier today. 

Each town will receive $477,647 for general improvements to school buildings. 

The funds awarded can be used for various projects, including improvements to communications/technology systems, lockers, parking areas, athletics fields, roof repairs and the installation or upgrade of security equipment. This grant money will help ensure that the schools in our community will remain excellent for the foreseeable future.
