Windsor, Windsor Locks Funding for General Election

September 15, 2020

I was pleased to work with Secretary of State Denise Merrill in securing funds for Windsor and Windsor Locks to better handle absentee ballot demands and polling place modifications critical to ensuring a safe election this fall.

Windsor has been granted $19, 978 including $12,978 for absentee ballot support and $7,000 more for safe polling places.

Windsor Locks has been granted $7,008 for the election in November. This includes $4,508 for absentee ballot support and another $2,500 for safe polling places.

Connecticut officials and local town clerks have been working tirelessly to make voting as simple and safe as possible. Because of these funds, anyone who wants to cast a vote will be able to do so safely. For more information on the allocated funds, click here.
