Ledyard Housing Authority to Receive State Grant

December 18, 2020

The Ledyard Housing Authority has received a grant from the state of Connecticut. The grant-in-aid  was awarded during the special meeting of the State Bond Commission, which took place earlier today.

The Ledyard Housing Authority will use the $1.3 million grant to help rebuild the Kings Corner Manor housing development.

Kings Corner Manor provides affordable housing to elderly and disabled residents in the Ledyard community. This grant will allow the housing authority to complete some long overdue rehabilitation projects. Kings Corner Manor provides great service to our community and I am thrilled that they will receive the financial help that they need.
