There has been a surge in hate crimes targeting the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community this past year resulting in nearly 3,800 anti-Asian racist incidents, most of them against women. We must stand with the AAPI community and end this hate. https://stopaapihate.org/together/
If you are victim, a witness, or if you learn of a hate crime, report it to the police department where the incident occurred or where the victim lives. Connecticut law authorizes any person injured by a hate crime to bring a civil lawsuit against the person who committed the act or crime.
