Zoning and Inequity
Communities of color in Connecticut face disparate outcomes in health, education, and other services - and we are seeing these divides exacerbated by COVID-19. Zoning reform and access to housing are integral to expanding equity and opportunity in these communities and across the state.
I was happy to join the press conference today discussing SB1024. I want to thank the P&D Committee for reviewing these bills, as well as a special thanks to Professor Bronin for her leadership on this important issue.
