Dos and Don'ts for the Fully Vaccinated

March 30, 2021

Connecticut's vaccine rollout has been a success. As of March 29, over 680,000 residents have received both shots. Starting April 1, all residents 16 and older will be eligible to schedule their vaccine appointment.

Although this a promising sign, it is important to remember we are not out of the woods yet. Many Americans have not been vaccinated yet and COVID continues to spread. AARP has created a FAQ for fully vaccinated individuals who are looking for guidance. Here are a few of their tips:

  • You are not "fully vaccinated" until two weeks after your second shot
  • Travel is still discouraged
  • Fully vaccinated people can gather indoors with others who are also fully vaccinated, without wearing masks or physical distancing
    • You can also spend time with unvaccinated people from a single household
