City of Groton Receives Grant

The City of Groton has received a grant from the state of Connecticut, via the Connecticut Port Authority. The city will receive $75,000 to improve access to the Municipal Dock Study. The grant-in-aid  was awarded during the special meeting of the State Bond Commission, which took place earlier today.

In total, the Connecticut Port Authority received $2,956,200. These funds will be used to finance other port related improvement projects throughout the state.
