A Financial Win
Hartford always faces an uphill climb to secure a fair amount of state funding…especially when you think about the huge non-taxable properties we house (state buildings, colleges, hospitals) and the social and economic challenges we face.
I am happy to report that the Hartford Legislative Delegation was able to increase our share by roughly $25 million next fiscal year (a jump from $274 million in state aide in FY 21 to $300 million in FY 22).
Every Hartford resident can feel good that Hartford fought for and won its fair share from the State Capitol.
