Heat Advisory for Connecticut

August 11, 2021

The National Weather Service has issued heat advisories for most of the state starting today through Friday, August 13.

Extreme heat can be dangerous, especially to vulnerable groups, such as the elderly and infants.

Please try to stay in air conditioned buildings for as long as possible. Limit your outdoor activity to mornings and evenings. If you must go outside for any reason, avoid direct sunlight and make sure to hydrate.

There are a few cooling centers in our community.
