Discussion For Vets and Active Military

As veterans and active military members across the nation continue to navigate and react to the current state of affairs in Afghanistan, it is important that everyone has access to the support they deserve.

I am working to assist veterans and active-duty members throughout the Newington area through this difficult time by helping to organize a group discussion that will allow veterans, active military, and family/friends of anyone who may have difficulty attending to cope together. This meeting will be about helping each other and is not intended to be a political debate.

The Newington Post 117, CT American Legion will host the discussion TODAY, September 22nd from 4:30-6:30pm at the American Legion, 294 Willard Ave., Newington. The CT Dept. of Veterans Affairs, the Federal VA and Veteran Service Providers will join us in partnership with the American Legion Post 117 to hold this important discussion.
